Research
Data
Recently
a six month double blind study [neither
the subjects nor the administrators knew
who was getting HGH and who was getting
the placebo] was completed.
The study involved 200 healthy
people – 112 females averaging 51 years
old and 88 males averaging 48 years old.
The subjects ate an average of
three meals per day with approximate
intakes of 3,000 to 4,000 calories per
day.
They were advised to continue their
same diets during the testing period.
Blood
levels of IGF-1 were used for evaluation
of the secretion of Human Growth Hormone
from the anterior pituitary gland.
IFG-1 is manufactured by the liver
in response to increasing GH levels.
The base line level of
IGF-1 for females was114.26ng/ml
+/- 8.54ng.
The base line level of
IGF-1 for males was 135.22 ng/ml
+/- 1.94ng.
Base lines for DHEA, cholesterol
(with HDL and LDL fractions) and
triglyceride were also established.
The
protocol used was three sprays of an oral
spray sub-lingually in the morning within
one hour of awakening and three sprays in
the evening immediately before retiring
with no eating or drinking 15 minutes
before or after spraying seven days per
week.
The experimental group received
2000 ng of HGH with each three sprays for
a total of 4000 ng of HGH per day.
The placebo group received an
identical spray except for the absence of
HGH.
At
the end of the six-month study IGF-1
levels had increased an average 102% in
the females receiving HGH.
In the males receiving HGH the
average increase was 109%.
Serum cholesterol levels were
decreased an average of 8.5% with a 15%
increase in the HDL (good cholesterol)
fraction and a 19.6% decrease in the LDL
(bad cholesterol) fraction.
DHEA levels were also significantly
increased.
The placebo group did not
demonstrate any significant changes in
these values nor did they have the
increases in mental stability, muscle
accretion, weight reduction, energy level,
libido elevation, epidermis rejuvenation
and reacquired hair color and density that
were also noted in the experimental group.
In all 200 subjects no adverse side
effects were noted.
These results indicate that an oral spray of HGH providing
4000 ng per day following the same
protocol of three sprays in the morning
within one hour of awakening and three
sprays in the evening just before retiring
with nothing by mouth 15 minutes before or
after is an effective method for promoting rejuvenation.
